BBQ Pit Insurance Coverage

Postby DaHorns » Wed Jun 27, 2007 5:12 pm

Does anyone know who writes policies on pits? Today I was denied by State Farm, who I have been doing business with for over 10 years. They said they couldn't cover it due to the "flames in the pit", I laughed at the guy when he said that (probably didn't help my cause). I email the company I have my home owners policy through (Farm Buearu), but haven't heard back yet.

Try these guys:
http://www.insurezone.com. This insurance covers property damage, fire, theft, and product liability. 5 Million dollar umbrella policy. The annual premium that was quoted was $1,241.
