Re: Deputy JamesB - Passed away this afternoon
His family will be in my prayers. I am assamed of myself, i first read about James on TheSmokering.com, I never go to the announcements on here. Well, he will be remembered and have left his mark on BBQ.

Re: Deputy JamesB - Passed away this afternoon
I am like many here that befriended JamesB without ever meeting him. As well, hurt with the news of his early passing. I am not a very outspoken person about my religious beliefs, however I can say with no doubt James will be looking down on all of us for a very long time. My family's love and support go out in prayer to his family and friends.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to James and his family at this difficult time. Although we never met, I feel I could count him as a very good friend. It truly makes you appreciate your friends, family and life in general......

I regret not being around here as often as I would like. I too never knew James except through this board and can tell you he will be sorely missed. God Bless you James

Re: Deputy JamesB - Passed away this afternoon
I knew we were close to the anniversary of JamesB's passing, but I missed it by a day. I just wanted everybody to put a quick prayer in for JamesB's surviving family as I know this must be a difficult time for them. I know he is out there tending a pit in a heavenly place. Our bbq brother is still greatly missed.

Re: Deputy JamesB - Passed away this afternoon
I'm sure James' family can use the strength of prayer now especially with the loss of his dad this year too.
Doesn't seem like 3 years have passed.
Earlier this year a hail storm trashed some of my "Bennett" lights so I put together all new ones but didn't get them put up cause of the summer heat but now might be a good time to let them shine.
