My Wife had an Uncle who never married. he lived with his Brother and Aunt, the Brother never married either. They had a 150 acre Farm in Angelina County Texas where they raised Hogs, chickens, Cattle , Peanuts, and their own Vegetables. They had their own Blacksmith shop and made a little money from the Community folk. After his Brother passed away, my Wife's Dad bought the 150 acres and built a brick home next to the old Farmhouse Uncle Zack lived in. As time went by, Zack couldn't get around too well and my FNL basically took care of him although he continued to live in his own house.
With that brief history I bring you the Pork story. My FNL and my wife told me you never went in that old house that there wasn't a plate on the stove with a piece of pork and some biscuits under a cloth. My FNL took Zack to the Dr. when he was in his Mid-80's and after the examination the Dr. spoke to my FNL privately explaining his concern over Zack's daily consumption of various forms of Pork and asked my FNL to inform Zack he could no longer eat Pork. After returning to the Farm, FNL later went over to Zack's house to tell him what the Dr. had said. He said wouldn't you know it, there he sat, eating a leftover biscuit with a piece of pan sausage stuck in it. FNL said; ' Uncle Zack, the Dr. says you're going to have to quit eating Pork." Uncle Zack replied " why?" . FNL told him the Dr. said that Pork was " Bad". He said Uncle Zack never cussed but looked up immediately and said " Shaw(his cuss word) Boy, the ONLY thing bad about Pork is running out of it"

Great story
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
