The Peach Schnappser

Postby Boots » Mon Oct 26, 2020 6:15 pm

My wife loves peaches and I just picked up about a case of canned peaches from Cooper’s peach farm in Fairfield on I45 on my way back from the old A&M. Then we had a wet cold front move in from Boomersoonerland, and needed something warm to drink by the fire. So this is the concoction that I invented on the fly. Surprised at how good it turned out.

The Peach Schnappser

Simmer in a small saucepan for 15-20 minutes the following:

1 cup peach nectar
1 cup spring water
2 shots peach schnapps
1/2 shot Di Serrano
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
4 peach halves w some juice from da jar

In a sugar rimmed martini glass add one of the peach halves then fill with the warm peach mixture.

Muy bueno.

I can help you with the peach schnapps Boots. And the cinnamon sounds good. But the rest I may have to leave to you and the Mrs.

The front hasn’t made it here yet. But is sure is wreaking havoc on the race in Ft. Worth.
