Avatar Question

Postby nascarchuck » Tue Jan 16, 2007 10:43 pm

I have a question concerning avatars.

The max file size allowed is 200X100 with a max file size of 7kb. I have a drawing that I want to use. I have shrunk this thing down to 100X81 and it's still at 13.9kb.

What else can I do to get the file size down and you can still see the image? I have Photoshop.

Thanks...

Chuck

100X100 max size, I recommend a jpg file. File size shouldn't matter. Hope that helps. All esle fails, PM the Sheriff :)

Did you choose "Save for the Web" option in Photo shop?

OK bossman... I got it now... I never noticed the "save for web".

I know just enough about photoshop to get me in trouble...

Thanks for the help.

Thanks...

Ya know, I just saw that dumb movie a week or two ago. Mater was my favorite character in the movie, well, besides the Porsche.

I don't think that they could had picked a better person for that role! Larry fit Mater to a "T"...

I watched it a couple of weeks ago. You're right, he does fit Mater to a T. The wife was sayin originally Mater wasn't supposed to have much of a role in the movie but when Larry got to doin his thing they couldn't help but to give him a bigger part.
