We are going to Bossier City La. for one night this week. Have a comped room for a night and a couple of hundred bucks of "free" chips,might as well use 'em. Just a two hour drive.
Drive careful everyone, have a nice fourth.

I suppose I am gonna stay home and cook up a mess 'o them 99 cent briskets BW mentioned! Lots of local stuff in our little suburb, small town stuff...parade, fireworks - its all good!

Happy and Blessed Fourth of July my friends! Probably my favorite holiday of the year! God Bless our Country and our freedom!
We are probably going to my step-brothers house and watch lots of 'illegal' fireworks and eats lots of good food! Thankfully, hubby doesn't drink, so will drive home!

Oh yeah...

We are headed outta town for the 4th. Driving all the way from Benbrook to Joshua. It's about a 20 minute ride!

My sis-in-law is having a cookout (brisket & reebs) at her beau's place. Supossed to do fireworks, etc there.

Other than that, no, we are stayin in Benbrook!

OSD don't think we will make it that far south. Jills folks live just outside of Lake City. We did talk about driving over to Daytona for the race though. That would be pushing it since we have to start back Sunday morning. Maybe next time.

We partied all weekend and Les is working on the 4th. Then he gets Friday off instead and we're going on a three day camping trip with his brother and his wife!
