Throw Down Chat?

Postby DATsBBQ » Mon Aug 13, 2007 5:28 pm

Since we got this wonderful tool that is under used, anyone up for a chat concerning the End of Days Throwdown? Could talk about rules, prizes, photo techniques or any thing else concerning the contest. What day/time would work?

I'm interested, but I'm like Mike. With work and family, I never know when I'll be on, and usually it's not long enough to be good for a chat.

Easy. It's a photo contest featuring Q. There are four categories, which are:
1. Big Hunks of Meat (brisket, butt etc)
2. Ribs (beef, pork etc)
3. Things with wings (chicken, dove etc)
4. Any Thing Goes

You can enter one, two, three or all categories during the turn in window.
When the window closes, the pics are published on the Throw Down Pages and Polls go up the Forum Throw Down Section. Members look at the photos, then vote for what they think/feel is the best one. The four winners then compete for the Title.

Complete rules in the General Ordinance Announcement and the End of Days Sticky.

Any one who is a member can enter. There is no entry fee. Prizes are great.

SO, you could enter a pot of chili cooked on a gasser and win!

Prizes are listed and displayed along with sponsor links on the Thrown Down Site.

The MVP (Most Valuable Picture) gets a custom Avatar to boot and will be put in the Hall of Fame. :D
