I'm under one right now, but it'll blow over in 15 minutes or so.

How bout that Hurricane making a Beeline to the Texas Coast? Potential for some serious problems to be sure. Stay safe everyone.

Rich, we be hanging in. Raining now, but not too bad. Has been real spotty so far. We fertilized our Habanero field this morning. Rain will be just right. Hoping to pick until frost. CF

I think we're gonna have to wait till Sunday to see what happens. I refuse to evacuate again. Last time I drove for 22 hrs by myself in the car. That wasn't bad but started talking to myself and started answering myself. Thats when I started to worry. Not to mention all I could pick up was spanish radio and radio disney. I still have some of the songs stuck in my head. This time I'm gonna get my bass buggy close to the back door and charge the battery so I know I can float my way out. Last I saw was lvl 4 at about 145mph so it'll be a good one if it hits here. I wonder if the pit will fit in the boat ! Maybe a small webber and an umbrella. Plenty of meat to cook just need the fuel.

We got a little rain here in Llano but mostly got quite a bit west of here, resulting in the river rising a bit. Here's a view out my back door on Friday.

Just looked again and it looks like when it goes over Mexico it will loose alot of strength. :D Shows it hitting land way south of Brownsville. :D But you never know with these storms. :?

Best of luck to everyone hope the storm doesn't cause major/minor damage. It did make the evening news here in Oz so it must be a biggie!
