Hi Allie,
I can relate to your bad news and will certainly add your Dad to my ever growing prayer list. Last Wednesday I did a (third one this year) fundraiser for a (one of four) co-worker diagnosed with cancer since January. One more to go next month.... while pulling the pit home, I received a call from my Brother informing me that his youngest son has rectal cancer. 44 years old with a 14 year old daughter starting high school. We are all devastated. Cat scan showed no other tumors, but went for an mri today to check the spine. Have not received the results. John lives in Round Rock, Texas with the rest of the family residing in Austin. He's a Great Guy. That being said my friends, I'm asking each of you to add my nephew to your prayer list along with Allie's Dad
Much Appreciated

My deepest sympathies, DJ. Of course we'll add him to our prayers.

Same thing: if we can do anything, let us know.

So many have been touched by this horrible disease. My heart is with each and every one of you. DJ, I'll certainly remember your nephew. When my dad was diagnosed, his was colonorectal and at the same time my landlord's wife was diagnosed with rectal cancer. Both of Les's parents passed away about 5 years ago with colon cancer within 6 months of each other. I think that makes it especially hard, knowing what happened to them. Les wasn't close to either of them having been raised by his grandparents but still just knowing the outcome.

I haven't heard anything from them yet. I don't know if they're in the hospital or still waiting. They said they'd let me know as soon as they found out what the next step is going to be.

Allie I can't say I know how your feeling but I do understand having to watch people you care about fight that battle. Right now we have FIL and his brother and 2 of DH's cousins fighting that battle. One is losing fast. You, your dad and family have my most heart felt prayers.

All,
Many Thanks
Allie,
Know that You and Your Family are in my thoughts and prayers along with the rest of you ladies and gents. I have always included "and all good folks" in my prayer list and I'm sure all of you fall into that category.

Like DaHorns said, let us know if there is anything that you need.
