I did this once when we lived in the Panhandle but I was only trying to lick the snow off of the top of the metal implement wheel :shock: - - - - fortunately Mom was within screaming distance and came running with a pot of warm water. ah the Good old Daze :laughing7:

The did a story on the radio the other day about A Christmas Story. The director was the same guy that did Porky's. He had been pitching his Christmas movie with no luck. When Porky's became a hit they wanted him to do Porky's 2. He said not unless I can do this Christmas movie. So they agreed and he did both.

A Christmas Story was not a box office success. It gained a cult following after the VHS release. Somewhere down the line TBS started the marathon and it is now considered a classic!

I AM A FAN - - - been doing a lot of chores inside today with TBS streaming in the background - - - when I hear a special moment coming I stop chores and hit the recliner until that moment is done and then back to work - - - it's on its 3 run this morning :dont: :roll: :laughing7:

F U D G E .... thats a good movie - But I would steer clear of Christmas Story Part 2 .... smh and wonder how it ever came to be

I saw it advertised last weekend, C'boy, but just could bring myself to watch a second offering of something GREAT - - - sequels and No 2s just don't work for me either. :roll: :dont:

Confession here - I had to buy the neighbor lady a new bird feeder with my piggy bank savings. Shot the glass out of hers. It wasn't my fault though that the birds all gathered there. :dont: :laughing7:
