Oups thread re bizkit

Postby Russ » Sat Jan 28, 2017 7:27 pm

Didn't want to hijack oups thread about his bizkits, I thought they looked just like a scone. The reason was soon as I saw it it reminded me of this. My wife loves a cheese scone every now n then. Have a look at this pic.

This is a copy from my phone.

Wife had bought 2 scones last week, we have a two story house and at night if I'm doing something downstairs she will txt me. Yeah, I know , lol, lazy. But it's just how we roll. She txt me can you warm a scone with butter please. I always think outside the square. I had just made a week earlier some strawberry jam from our garden. I looked in fridge and there was about 100 ml cream, so I whipped it up and served. She said it was pure decadence.lol

I googled Scone Recipe and they are almost like Bizkits - - - - maybe they change when they cross the Equator :dont:

The only difference is the sugar used for scones- higher than normally used in biscuits, and scones use fruit.. Raisins, blueberry, etc. Also no milk, if I remember right?

My mum used milk, she also only made cheese scones. My nan made the best scones but never left the recipe. Her pike lets were the best ever also.
