So a friend gave me about two gallons of muscadine juice, not from consintrate, in ten oz bottles. Here's the question, make wine or just drink
Does anyone know how to make wine from juice?

My Meemaw used to make the best muscadine jelly…Sorry, I know that doesn't help. Just brought back a good memory!

Re: Muscadine wine
Love me some Mayhaw Jelly and used to buy it along the Hwy from private vendors but haven't seen any in a long time - - - I made many a jar of muscadine jelly and it's my Favorite homemade jelly right under prickly pear jelly.
Now about the Muscadine Wine. I've only made it one time and it was just OK not Larapin by any sense of the word. I did it similar to this recipe but some of the ingredients couldn't be found locally so I had to substitute and have since forgot what I substituted. http://winemaking.jackkeller.net/reques15.asp
After my Grand Daughter was born "WE" picked muscadine grapes together and always rendered juice for Jelly.

Re: Muscadine wine
wine making takes time, and the fresh juice is what makes the best, I have made wine from all sorts of fresh fruits and their juices, it requires dedication and a few essential items, in this day and time search for a good internet website and go from there... as a side note various strains of champagne yeast will produce the highest alcohol volume... good luck on your endeavors.

Re: Muscadine wine
Years ago I made dandelion wine. No one would drink it but me.
Then, a neighbor gave me some rhubarb, and I made wine from that, and NO ONE could drink it, including me.
