Hey! Ya never know!
Yes, the ecoboost. The old school fellas feel the need for displacement and are afraid of turbos, but I am a big fan of them.
Don't get me wrong, an LS motor can be a monster!

Our local state police either cruise in the sho or an Explorer.

For the price the sho are hard to beat. They are loaded from the factory.

Lol, yup I agree.
I run the PA Tpk daily, Northeast extension 476 from the Poconos to Allentown.
They pretty much run the tables up and down that stretch.
Real nice cars and I'm not a Ford fan, but the Taurus is sweet.

Just MPO but... I like the sound, smell and torque of a big ole skool gas guzzling V8. Besides...anything I would have to hook up a computer to work on is over my head anyways. :laughing7:

A buddy's Chevy we had at our shop doing some minor touch up on.
Interior and outside bone stock.

Under the hood a tire burning 427

Put Twin turbos or one massive supercharger on a big block, you will still get all of that noise, smell, rumbling, tire smoke etc etc...
Plus, you will get the added BONUS of being embedded in the seat when ur turbo spools up or the supercharger winds up along with the spool sound which cannot be duplicated any other way.

Until u experience the ( violence ) you can get with a turbo or supercharger, u can't imagine it.

Take for example the new Trans Am, 7.4 litre which if my brain math is correct makes it a 454. It puts out 840 hp from the showroom floor.
Supercharger a big reason for that.

Still American muscle, big block with a HUGE air /fuel intake and when u put the hammer down, expect car alarms to go off.

0-60 in roughly 2 seconds
I'm a fan because the Hellcat is no longer top dog :P :P :P

Hey Em, what are your thoughts on this Trans Am ? Did u click the link ?

You have to see this one. It's one of it idling, sounds like an alcohol injected funny car, just a smaller scale.
I'd love to have a car sound like this lol, not for 115 k tho

I have been getting the fever again for another sports car and have been considering old school. You're right, the rumble is something that just can't be replaced

Back in 2012 I flew out to Bakersfield to meet some online Hot Rod Friends and go to the NHRA Drags. It was also the weekend of the Cacklefest which I enjoyed as much, maybe more, than the Drags. Lots of Wheels there including this ?BBQ trailer? made from a Vintage Coupe (Ford, I think?). Anyhow, the BBQ grill in the hood, Wiley Coyote and little snacking visitor on the right foreground was just a fraction of all the cool things there was to see there that day. I'll bet I walked 20 miles minimum and sipped a brew or two. Sure glad I went cause one of my Buds, an avid car guy and great friend, doesn't even remember who I am when I call *%@*)&%@ Altzheimers :angryfire:
