what's going on? academy just jumped the price of their wood from $15 to $18 a bag!!

It's because of all the members on here, the trees can't keep up with the belly cravings lol !!

Worse than the prices is the wood some of these guys are peddling...I've got half a cord of oak that was a few months away from being perfect to cook with that has been ageing in my shed for almost two years, the sticks on the top of the pile are dry now, the ones on the bottom are not.
Also, good post oak is a real rarity in Austin. Lots of guys claim to have it but so far very little of it has been good clean aged wood ready to cook..or they want $400 a cord.
