Today was youth/mentor day for trout

Postby 88rxna » Sat Apr 08, 2017 9:31 pm

And I couldn't have been more proud of her! This 16 3/4" brown was caught at the end of our day. Wasn't getting a bite (I was ready to hang it up) and she convinced me to stay...so glad she did! I hooked it but she reeled it in for me.

Nice fish and what a cutie. Love the look on the kiddos face when they get that fish out of the water.

Thanks for sharing!

Yes, she needed a lot of help but it's her fish. I posted the picture on the Pennsylvania game and boat commission Facebook page and they sent a release form asking if they can (they might) put the picture in the angler and boater magazine. I really hope they do!!

BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
