My Friend Fred Sanford

Postby OldUsedParts » Mon Jul 10, 2017 11:58 am

I have a friend that collects scrap metal and etc and he's always finding cool stuff that folks have set out for the trash man. He'll pick this stuff up and clean it up and either scrap the metal or sell the item that is working after he fixes it. I've shared some of his finds here before and today, they got rained out, so he comes by to visit and tells me about this grill he picked up that's in the back of his Jeep Wagon. So I go out in the rain and see this 3 burner (?) Charmglo Stainless Gas Grill, like the one in the pic below, that he just scored with only elbow grease to load it. After he gets her cleaned up and tested I'll let Y'all know what'sup.

Wouldn't do for me to know a Fred Sanford. I manage to drag enough stuff home on my own. No room for anything else. Come to think of it, I seem to remember I ordered something last week I'm not sure where I'm going to put either. :banghead: :banghead:

He had a nice BBQ/Smoker that was given to him that he resold and I SHOULD HAVE bought it but didn't. However, I have no use for a Gas Grill because the Wiffy doesn't want Propane on the property - - - that's because of a fire that totally destroyed their home back when her kids were young. So out of respect, there's no gas at la Casa (fire away) :whiteflag:

Lol, you must have the same sense of humour, Benny hill was pretty sexist when you think about it.
