Welps, today is Kellye's Birthday and my son just called and said her arm surgery is scheduled for this morning. They will go get her around 7am and then "WE" wait for GOOD results and a Doctor's visit in the Waiting Room. No cake or candles just yet but you can bet we'll have a glorious Celebration when all of this is finally over.

thanks everyone - - - I'll make sure she sees all of these but it may be a while
UPDATE:
The surgery was as expected, very involved and lengthy HOWEVER her vital signs and little body behaved themselves thru the entire 4 1/2 hour procedure. She is back in ICU and doing as good as we could ask for. The surgeon said that the reconstruction was not the best he'd hoped for but there was lotz of missing bones and therefore he had to use plates and screws to provide her any kind of flexibility at the elbow. He also said that the rehab is gonna be a tuff one, long and painful but in time she should get back to some normal living. She will be bed ridden for several weeks so David and her Mom have their work cut out for them. They know that they are surrounded by a loving Family that will help in any way.

With any Major Surgery, I always say...Even the slightest movement forward is a positive step.
