Anybody tried this stuff?? It's delicious!! If you ain't then take my word you should! I almost ate the whole jar by myself since last Friday! My favorite use so far was on some grilled boneless skinless chicken breasts.

That looks worthy of a try for sure, especially with you co signing it. I'm thinking some on top of my wife's grilled beef fajitas   :D :D Thanks for sharing.

I may get shot or hanged for this, but I have never been much of a fan of guac. Sometimes, it's done up real good, and I'll eat it . . . but, for the most part, I find it to be bland and uneventful.

Forgive me, Brothers.

Yet another Texan delicacy I can't get. ;)

(Though I did manage some Duke's mayo. Yay Dollar Tree!)

There's good guac and then there's bad guac. A lot of the restaurants use the processed stuff in a bag. When it's totally creamy that's an indication that it's pre-made. When it has brown spots on it, it's old and usually has a "off" taste to it. If it's got good sized chunks and it's all a shade of light green, that's a good start. Some of the places we've been to stop there. Add a slight squeeze of lime juice to brighten the flavor, finely chopped onion and tomato, a little finely chopped serrano pepper to taste and it's guacamole all of a sudden.
We were in Cozumel in June. 3 out of four times we ate dinner, guac was served to us automatically along with chips/salsa. Wife, who doesn't really care for it, wolfed it down like there was no tomorrow.
When it's made at tableside, you have your choice of ingredients to add in. That's when you can really get the guac to taste like you want it.

I sucked up the first bottle and went back yesterday and snagged two more, good thing I did, they were down to three bottles left on the shelf!
