CAPT'N DID YOU SEE THIS
OldUsedParts wrote:Cool Capt'n I saw Zep at the Sam Houston Coliseum also - - - Y'all might have been there - - - it was the time that Paige walked out by himself and started doing what only he did at the time to a guitar and after several minutes the rest of the Band came out onstage and then they broke into "Whole Lotta Love" - - - all you had to do to get high was stand up and breathe
My Kuz went to Belliare also when Billy Gibbons was there

of course I do, and Fever Tree
we went to Love Street Light Circus all the time
also the Bellaire Gym, MarionHS gym, the Living Eye, the Catacombs
and the ultimate late night dive - the Cellar
got thrown out of the Cellar one night about 2am and the bouncers hosed us with Mace....
all part of growing up in Houston in the 60s
I drove a serious 327- 4-speed, 373Posi - 66Malibu, so we were always cruisin' for a race
until George Grossman dropped a blown 427 in his 67 Chevelle

Re: OUP's present state?
the Fever Tree's lead singer, Neil Ford, eventually became our Road Manager and Booking Agent after he left the Fanatics - - - it was short lived but fun

You're messin in my Turf now Capt'n. I watched B.J. come of age at many a Dance featuring this Popular Band. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AimA0l-rICA
This Gig Poster hangs proudly on my Wall of Fame right above me.
"WE" played lots of Gigs during that time but they were West of Richmond to Columbus and Ganada.
