Exhoust fan

Postby orcasag » Mon Nov 13, 2017 4:09 pm

I have a Pitmaker Vault in a smokehouse, the range hood fan got cooked quickly, I need to exhaust the smoke - does anyone know of a squirrel cage or other that can mount near exhaust and not fry?

Welcome to the forum just make yourself at home.
Hmmmm if a range hood got cooked it sounds to me like the smoker exhaust is plenty hot.....
Is there not some way to just pipe the exhaust to the outside?

My thoughts as well. Does it have to be powered?

Is there any way you can push the smoke thru the exhaust with the fan rather than pull it :?: Maybe a side draft that could push air into the exhaust away from the fire somewhere along the exhaust pipe therefore creating a pulling effect to help the exhaust :?: :dont:  No expert by any means - - just a thought :dont:
