We get them a little early since their folks are separated but this way they get multiple Christmas'. These are my 2 darling little grand daughters Ava (5) and Maddie (3). This is what Christmas means to me.

As you know, My Friend, THAT IS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT - - - I was blessed with some great hanging out time with mine yesterday and I'm still on cloud nine.

Ah, being new to the grandpa scene myself (my wife has 3 grown children with a couple kiddos of their own) I'm quite enjoying getting to rev them up, sugar them up, spoil them, then hand em back over to their parents. Lol! Merry Christmas, bud!

OUP: Yep, doesn't get any better than that. I'll be hating it when they go home later.

Sooner: Ava has a tendency to find Papaws big belly when she is ready for sleep. I dont have a bit of a problem with that.

I just made a trip to go get doughnuts and chocolate milk. I assure they they will be in high gear when they head home. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and its pay back time.

I forgot to mention that EVERYTHING we got the girls makes lots of noise as well. So far the whistles are a big hit...

I have a tee shirt that was given to me back when my G-babies were Babies that says:
"Grandpaw's Job: Fill Grandchildren up with Candy and send them home"

One time when my first born Granddaughter was about 3, her Mom was PG with my soon to be Grandson and I had come in from the outside sweating so I took my shirt off, grabbed a beer and plopped down in the recliner. Harlee walked by, pointed at my belly and said "Pawpaw you gotz a baby in there?" - - I smiled and said "Harlee, you are the only one in the world that could get by saying that". Don't mind admitting she is the light of my life. Sorry to ramble, Friend

Good memories are never rambling. Thanks for sharing the little things that are special.
