Why thank you all most kindly, just another ring in this gnarly old tree. One of the privileges I reserve on my birthday is to decimate the kitchen any way I want and cook whatever I wanna.

This year, Prime Rib, mashed Irish taters, and grilled Brussels Sprouts. Wife made a lucious apple crisp too, which I savored with a fine Texas bourbon, TX.

HAPPY NEW YEARS TO YOU ALL, each and every one, from New Zealand to Maine to Texas :texas: and beyond!

And a big shout out to the mascot of the TXBBQF; the Fabulous Hudson Hornet. May the Big Man’s blessing be upon you this and every New Year.

And to Parts, it’s my honor to share the day with yer youngest. I will, as I know he will, pledge to “hammer down” in the new year.

And to the Egghead, many thanks Amigo Frank. May the road rise to meet you, may the sun rise to greet you, and may every meal be the Blue Plate Special.
