Avoid at all costs.

Postby JustinCouch » Thu Jan 04, 2018 7:45 pm

The wife brought home some pre packaged hamburgers that were a mix if beef AND pork. For lack of better words. They suck! Now I'm curious, they were packaged in the meat trays like regular ground beef. To grocery stores put pork in ground beef is just wrong! Is the meat peef or big? I don't know. Any one else ate it before?

My $0.02 FWIW - I've never had much luck with pre-made patties from the butcher :dont:

I mix pork butt and brisket from time to time for burgers and it's a wonderful patty. I'd wonder if it were just random pieces thrown into the grinder if it didn't taste good. Lol

Good Point, Sir, IMHO - if it says "mixed" then that gets them past the Rules and then it's "Consumer Beware" :whiteflag:
