Any Cigar Smokers

Postby Canadian Smoker » Sun Jan 21, 2018 2:02 pm

Hey guys ...besides BBQ and hot peppers........Cigars are also another hobby of mine......any body else partake in a stick or two.....
I smoke two or three a day...Big fan of Rocky Patel,Alec Bradley....I do enjoy Cubans....Bolivar being one of my favorites...i like a full bodied smoke.....just dont like paying all that tobacco tax us Canucks get nailed with.
I have a big Humidor at home. A friend of mine is a cabinet maker and built it for me some years back......aprox 18 cubic feet.....hard to keep it stocked....always gives me an excuse to buy another box of cigars.

I see the beauty and care put into them, and also the attraction. I just personally can't get past the smell of alot of them.
However, I have found some that smell pretty good lol. I'm just not a smoker, but would love to see some if you have pics.

Great work on the Humi-Cab, Rick, that birdseye Maple brings back some memories when I was whittlin down the stock for my first Hawkens Muzzle Loader back in the daze. :salut:

Excellent humidor there! I haven't had a good stogie in a long while, but i used to partake in 1 a day. I would buy the 5 pack swisher sweets when I drove the big rig; I would smoke 1 during my pre trip and post trip inspections, and usually have one when I had downtime between stops. I got my good cigars from the liquor store humidor selection; usually a good 9 dollar "after dinner" choice; random brand selected.

Same here TJ.
Not a big cigar smoker but I do have one now and then when I have the time to relax and enjoy it.

Love cigars! Especially with a little whiskey or while smoking some meat. Great way to pass the time.

My hobby is smoking cigars. I am a fan of tobacco smoke. But when I first picked up a cigar, I didn’t know which side it was attached to and how to cut a cigar with a cutter, there was nothing to talk about. Over time, having studied all the intricacies of cigar wisdom, I get great pleasure from smoking cigars.

Sorry to rain on the parade but after seeing my best friend die of lung cancer because he refused to quit smoking I wish you guys would think of your kin folk and the future and stop with the slow suicide behavior.

I must add to this BECAUSE I CARE  :salut:
I quit a 4 pack a day habit in 1990 and, if I had not, then I would not be typing this post today.
