Out and About BBQ shopping

Postby OldUsedParts » Wed Jan 31, 2018 2:15 pm

Took some time and drove to Academy and Lowes today to stock back up on Kingsford Charcoal Briquettes and check out the Grill Marking Pans. Picked up two 18# bags at Lowes and Scored me a C.I. with the Grill ridges at Academy for $19.99 plus.

VooDoo "Q" or just Co-inky-dink :?: Thought it was funny that the purchases were made back to back but several miles apart yet they were exact to the penny :laughing7: :dont:

OH, my previous stop at the P. O. was $20.64 so I guess that Marie Leveau is still in Louisiana.

Think I'll use this with the handle "in tact" on the Kettle before I do any "whacking" on that handle. Sure am glad they don't sell these by the pound. ;)

Not only was it cheaper BUT

BTW Y"all, while I was in Lowes I noticed a Pit Boss 820 Pellet Grill and it was priced at $499
If I had room I would buy one just as a back up Pit.

Lodge actually makes a scraper that fits down in the grooves. Makes it a ton easier. Definitely worth $3.

Forced myself to Wally World today also and SCORED a Lodge ridge cleaner - - - had to pay twice the Target price that Chris posted but at the price of Petrol these days it's better to just git it and be done.
