Prayers Please

Postby OldUsedParts » Fri Mar 02, 2018 7:43 am

Need Y'alls Prayers and Good Vibes for my youngest Son, Bo, who is having back surgery today.

It is supposed to be the minimal invasive, in and out type and he should be resting in his own bed tonight but, as a Parent, I worry any time it requires Sedation.

He has worked hard all of his life and this back pain just keeps getting worse and worse so hopefully the MRI and Medical Team will send him home with less or no pain.

I'll post an update when we get back from the Hospital this evening.

Thanks, Y'all, :salut: :salut:
Emm

Been through that myself. I understand the thoughts of the what if’s…to be honest that was the worst part of the procedure for me.

Prayers sent for healing hand, guidance to the surgeon, speedy recovery and comfort to all involved.

Keep us posted.

My son went through back surgery about two months ago. Incision about 1-1/2” long. He’s doing great.

Prayers sent

Thoughts n prayers from the South Pacific as well my friend, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, the human body can take one heck of a hammering, and bounce back. He's in good hands, I know that. And speedy recovery too emm. Tell your son there's a kiwi in nz praying for him.

Keep us in touch.

Thanks Friends, just got home and it was a long day. Since the surgery was so late in the afternoon the Surgeon decided to keep him over night so he can talk to him and make sure everything is OK in the morning. The Surgeon also said the the bone fragments and stuff was more than he expected so that's why it took so long. I'll know more after they talk in the morning and I'll update Y'all then.

Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers,
Emm

Thanks for keeping us posted. Remind him to listen to his restrictions and follow doctors orders. He doesn’t want to have to do it twice.

Thanks Sooner and you bet I will - - altho his Wife knows how to keep him in line and will make sure he does what he's supposed to "or else".

SHE posted a small update on her FB page this morning saying he was nauseous all night and it some pain. He's also got a king sized headache this morning HOWEVER, I'm sure that some/most of that is from being flat of his back for so long, no real food and the sedation hangovers.
