This is the place called my home.
Soon we will start building a pool and a relax area, as well as a new outdoor kitchen witch sitting space. But for the last 24 years it was enough.

And this is the other part of my life. The home of my wife.
But do not ask me, where i feel the life more intensive and maybe more better.

Wisteria and crepe mertle abound.
And nice spread Mr, Bertl! How about we call you Bert if you don’t mind? In Texas, it would likely be pronounced that way.

Up to you, my real Name is Robert and Bertl is a short bavarian form of that name. Same as my normal nickname „Robby“.
But as daBertl i‘m writing since some years as well in different BBQ Forums as in my own forum. So it is more easy for me old man to remember only one name

Re: What Home Looks Like...
We've been on this same property since 1979.
In 79 it was pasture, not a tree on it. Bought and lived in a 14 x 70 ft mobile home on the property until 1994.
Started building our new home in 1990. The missus and I planted every tree and shrub on the property.
Finished up on building the house in 1994 and moved in. Sold the mobile home that year and got it off the property.
Its been a long memorable journey the last 40 some years....too be honest....aint a whole lot of things I'd of done different.

Wow - some really nice places lads. Love the azaleas, wisteria, flowers on the columns at BB’s, and all the cool places.

Our Wisterias and Azaleas are fully loaded. My Plum tree is loaded; fighting webworms and hoping we don't get another Frost. I haven't had Plums for 3 years now; hoping to get a bunch for jelly this year

A picture tells a story is so true, years and years of work, great pics Rambo and wild bill. Rambo do you ride the horses? Quarter horses? I used to breed and race Standardbreds. Great spread for horses. Thanks for the pics.
