If I was gone, my kids might say it’s broken and hide it.

I can't eat them any longer, However, my Grandaughter would arm wrestle you for a jug of those. Ever since she was little she could sit with a plate of cukes and the S&P shakers and kill off a big mess of them. :salut:

I’ve never done not eaten collard greens...sorry. I’ve watched enough shows on how to do them just never tried growing them. Next year I’ll give it a try

I was always told that Collards taste much better when raised in the Fall, especially after that first frost hits them so that's what I've always done in the past. :dont:

We call collards silver beet, I cook mine either with butter and stir fry, but my fave is steamed, wife grows it and we love it.

Well they look great. My Mrs has some family that still pickles, and there is nothing better than a good thick homemade dill on a juicy burger.

I think one thing that makes the Home Made pickles better is the freshness of the cucumbers. I try to have my juice prepared before I go to the garden and pick them. I'll go straight to the kitchen; clean, slice, and put them in the jars then run and water bath them ASAP

Picked some stuff this morning. I'm going to make up some of my jalapeño/carrots, & onions. Got enough cukes for a couple of more pints of Dill pickles and lastly; I was able to find 5 Lbs. of fresh Texas peaches and I'm going to make 6 pints of Peach jam. Pictures later today.
