New home for my grills

Postby JustinCouch » Thu Mar 29, 2018 6:17 pm

The wife and I have been house hunting and I think we found one. We just had a couple come look at our trailer and they want it. Yea!!!!!!!! The house is on realtor.com if anyone wants to look at it. If you do its quitman Mississippi. Its the one on Franklin St. I would love some feedback on how the house looks. I just thought about something. Now Yall know my address if I buy the house. If you come forsupper just let me know so I can have a plenty.

My comments really big and really cool ol' place.

My concerns would be the cost to insure, heat and cool the place.
Also how good is the plumbing and electrical in the house as it obviously has been redone.

Civil War era mansion neat!

Tom I must have put the wrong address in. Its not the civil war house. It was built in 62. In going to re check the address. Its the white house with brick trim around it. In pretty sure its 427 east Franklin St Whitman ms.

OK that one! The Cold War era house.....!

That is more reasonable looks pretty good to me. I like the wood it looks like it needs some of your TLC but still good.

Nice yard, garage is cramped but the price is very good.

Best of luck home buying is a big step but usually a very good investment in the long haul.

Good luck with your new home.

But please allow one question: why do all Amerikans like dark houses. I could never live inside a house with dark walls, dark doors, and dark painting.
Please do not missunderstand me, i just want to know.
The only house i could imagine for being made friendly in my eyes is the big white one in Country Street.

I guess that was the style they liked back in the 60s. We have a lot of work to do but we are looking forward to it.

But is the same in hotel rooms. I had about 20 different hotel rooms in US and they all have been old school. Except the 70th floor Suite in the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. And this is owned by Deutsche Bank :D

Trends and tastes to each their own.
My home has many thousand sqf of white walls. I have had homes with the wood walls and liked them too.

I think I am going to white wash the wood panels. I think that would look cool.

Don't forget to update us with a photo.
Looking forward to more camping trip with my family. I need a new tonneau cover to secure my equipment and pit.
