What I'm talking about is Grapeseed Oil. I first learned about this on the Food Network. Robert Irvine was working with somebody (a Restaurant Impossible episode I'm sure, but it's been a while), and because the guy cooked at high temperatures, Robert recommended Grapeseed Oil. It's got a lower flavor profile, so it doesn't color the flavor of your food, and a higher smoke / burn point than EVO. It lasts like EVO also.
My personal experience is that I still prefer olive oil for general cooking, BUT if you've got a real hot skillet or wok, or need to brush oil onto a grill, grapeseed oil is awesome.
