Here's our 'garden!'

Postby Sailor Kenshin » Sat Apr 28, 2018 8:34 am

About a month late, according to my gardening notes. We've had the coldest spring I can remember up until now, with a blizzard the day after Easter.

Image

Four types of maters, two pots-o-lettuce, two tubs-o-greens (chard, kale, collards), and tulips. Beans and peppers will go in later; we are TRYING to grow medi-penner seedlings indoors, 'cause No Can Find locally. Wish we could get our hands on Poblanos.

What y'alls got?

Order some poblano seed; they’re easy to germinate and you should be able to grow In pots.

I wish we could grow cukes, but they always fail. :(

Odd for me to see Collards growing at this time but I do understand the reason. I always preferred the taste of Fall Collards especially after being kissed by a morning frost.

Looks good! Last year we did cherry tomatoes for my youngest. I only got two all season because she’d pick and eat them right off the vine :)
