An East Texas Thang
We drove my oldest Son over to Shepard to pick up his '65 Mustang today and when we went through Cold Springs they had booths set up at the Court House Square. As we passed by I saw a Mayhaw Jelly Booth and told the Wiffy that we would stop on the way back and pick up a jar. Well, we just barely made it because they were almost loaded up and ready to leave. Scored me a Jar and there's no doubt that Cathead's are on the Breakfast Menu for tomorrow.

As promised, a small batch of catheads where on the menu and after abot 15 min they were on the plates.
The one on the right is Traditional Ol Skool - butter and mayhaw jelly - - HOWEVER, the one on the left (my half) has layers of butter, sour cream, homemade jalapeno jelly and mayhaw jelly. They were both great and we have both had a second cathead fixed our way.

Very nice.
Btw, I once had a '65 Mustang (with a smaller 6 cylinder engine).
