Pellet Hopper Assembly

Postby TwoGuysBBQ » Wed May 16, 2018 2:41 pm

Has anyone ever heard of "SMOKE Daddy" pellet smokers ? They sell the hopper systems complete for under $500.00 I'm undecided to either build a custom smoker and add this system to it or simply add it to my existing smoker. Their website is www.smokedaddyinc.com He has a lot of cool stuff on there including a gallery of pictures of guys that have adapted the hopper to their smokers.

I just never heard of the company and was wanting any feedback if anyone has used this assembly.

Thanks and God Bless

I've been looking at those units also. Been Wanting to build a smoker out of a old freezer.
I've seen some good reviews on that hopper assembly. Plus it'll hold 30 pounds of pellets.
It has the PDI controller like my RecTec. They really hold a steady temp but you sacrifice some smoke that some of the other less steady temp controllers generate. At least that's what I've read. :dont:

Also been eying thier Magnum smoke generator unit in conjunction with the hopper for addtional smoke.

Problem is I don't know anyone personally that has one :dont:
