Rotisserie score

Good Afternoon, a few weeks ago a neighbor of mine posted that he was putting a char broil rotisserie kit on his sidewalk for anyone to pick up. He had it for a few years in storage and had never opened the box so I went and picked it up and brought it home. I took it out of the box wiped it down and tested the motor and it worked perfect!
The only thing is I don't own a gas grill and started trying to figure out how to add it to one of my smokers. After realizing I couldn't do it without having a major modification done I looked over at my fire ring and the old light bulb lit I was able to adapt on and did a test run yesterday with GREAT results. Ive never cooked on my fire ring but can't wait to do it again.
