Postby Rambo » Mon Jun 04, 2018 10:17 am

I went through 85 pages of Bill's posts this morning and picked out just some of the things he shared with us. I hope you enjoy these.

That Bill had a great eye for the landscape and lived large. Thanks for sharing.

Hope it's OK to add pics to this Thread so here's Wild Bill's last Smoke before he left on Vacation.
No doubt, the Man could do things with Smoke and Fire.
He was forever headed to a function and cooking dozens of briskets, butts, ribs and etc for Friends  :salut:

Awesome post. One of the best ways to honor a lost member. The internet is an awesome force that most kinda don't see the big picture of. You may never meet a person face to face but can still develop a true friendship. This is the case for me with a couple buddies. I have another friend I've known for 12 years now I've never met in person but we've played online games and had connected through Facebook. He was one I spoke with many times when going through my divorce and helped me tremendously.
Another bud is on the other end.. We met back in my army days, in the same platoon, and we have kept contact through internet. He's visited on a few vacation times, but the net has kept a contact point open. Pushing 20 years on that friendship. To some, this may be their only connection to the outside world for any number of reasons; personal or medical, and bonds can certainly develop.

Well said, Sir Chef  I can truly say that my "internet friends" make up for a majority of the total number. :salut:
Most of the time it's the Common Bond, whether it be BBQ, Hot Rods, Music or whatever that is the catalyst :blues:
Such was the case with Wild Bill and his many Forum Friends :salut:
