Out and About with the Wiffy

Postby OldUsedParts » Tue Jun 05, 2018 5:04 pm

Wiffy had a 1:30pm appt down south so I convinced her to let me treat her to some Cajun Cooking. This is the same place that I met up with Egg and Maria and it was a great Lunch with a smiling Wiffy afterwards.

Here are pics of the decor first and I'll post the grub at the finish.

My Entree was a Bowl of Seafood Gumbeaux and they even brought a jar of File for extra if needed and I needed

Sherry had Fried Shrimp and it they were great, especially the Cole Slaw side.
The Hush-Puppies are the best I've ever eaten.

Dessert was Razzoos Famous Peach and Pecan Bread Pudding with Rum Sauce Topping

Nice outing! I’m usually good with rat toes and a frosty cold one. Maybe split some fried pickles.

yeah, that decor just ROCKS and screams N'orlins - - - so much music items and that twisted neon makes me wanna catch beads and eat mudbugs - - - Rat Toes at Razzoos are a battered and fried Jalapeno that's stuffed with a shrimp and crab meat/etc mix - - - the ones yesterday made me use several napkins and even my hankie once or twice :laughing7:

You, might get a kick outa browsing their Menu - - - the first timer needs to get there at least 30 min prior to ordering

Years ago, the Cajun food craze hit here and we had a place called (I THINK) Ellie's. Fell in love with blackened redfish there, and the decor was very similar.
