I am a big fan of DQ. There is also a place here by my house called Connies Custard. Man is it good stuff.

DQ is nice sometimes. Not a substitute for homemade though. Best Ice Cream shop out here is Cold Stone Creamery. Really good stuff, and not to be confused with any ice cream shop that might be run by Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Re: We all scream for Ice Cream !
Those look awful tasty...
I can remember as a little kid hand cranking a mixer at my aunt's home - that particular day my uncle mixed up the salt and sugar
We have an electric one that makes awesome ice cream using heavy cream, whole milk, sugar and vanilla in 15-20min - if we haven't taste-tested a bowl or 2 before it's complete we're doing it wrong
https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/ ... te/3251572 - $59.99

Rambo wrote:5 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon of pure vanilla
1 can Eagle Brand Milk
( beat for 2 minutes)
Pour into Ice Cream can and fill with milk to the " fill line" (inside the can)
Put can into Ice Cream maker
Spinkle Crushed Ice around Ice Cream Container; sprinkle with Rock Salt ( Morton's Ice Cream salt) repeat until full.
Crank handle or plug in electric and go until it's so hard you can't crank it by hand anymore or the electric shuts off.
better than anything you've ever had.
if you want chocolate or fruit you can do that; just don't go above the " fill line"
Gonna have to try this and see. Always up for a new recipe
