Kids say the darndest things!

Today is my youngests daughters B-day. She is five years old. Here are some of the questions and comments I've had to answer all morning!

'Mommy, who is going to buy our party hats?'
'Mommy, who are we going to get to hide and jump out to yell 'Surprise!'?
'Mommy, now that I'm five years old, can I get a job?'
'Mommy, who is going to put the decorations on top of the house?'
'Mommy, are you getting started on making my cake yet?!'

These are only a few of the endless chatter today!! :roll: :lol:

Happy 5th to your youngest!

My middle one's 5th b-day isn't until August. But she's already worrying about her special supper, presents, guest list, activities, etc.

Gotta love 'em. Another 6+ months of this, though?!? :shock:

I'm afraid so, Rob!! It just gets worse! She is so happy that she is 5 now, like 'Little Bill', her favorite t.v. show!

I will trade ya my 13 year old son for your 5 year old girl... He is about to drive me nuts!!! And 5 year olds are so cute!

Anyway, tell her uncle Chuck says happy birthday! :hb:

You sure that you dont want to get her a cute puppy for her birthday? I know a guy that has some that he needs to get rid of!!! :wink:

My daughter and my wife Ludy came to pick me up a 11 pm last Thursday and as I was loading up my luggage I see a a tiny head peering out of the rear window. I was Kalia our 3 year old mo`opuna (grandchild).

She insisted on coming to the airport cause she "had to check" my luggage. When asked why she replied..."Poppy has some rice cake and manapua for me." (steamed Chinese delicasies... served as dim sum) She had told me she wanted that before I left and she remembered...

My ohana loves to eat!!!!! :lol:

Aww, happy birthday!

Les stayed home with Zach when he was 2-4 1/2 while I worked. The other day, he was telling me how much he misses "Little Bill", "Bob the Builder", "Max and Ruby", and all those other shows Zach loved. Now he's 8 and thinks he's way too old for that stuff. lol Enjoy it while you can!
