Left over lunch

Postby TwoGuysBBQ » Tue Aug 28, 2018 1:06 pm

So I decided to go hunting in the freezer today.
Found some brisket, rice and beans.
After placing all the separate sealed bags in boiling water.
Lunch was served. “Potato salad from HEB”
I always used to defrost these in the micro until I read somewhere on this site about placing them in boiling water. Man what a difference.

Looks fresh made, Sir Ric, I need to start vacum sealing and freezing more of our leftovers instead of just putting them in a ziplock and freezing so I can try that warming method. :salut:  :texas:
