Hurricane Florence
Having my fingers crossed and hope this one turns out to sea. As of now, it does not look like that will happen. And I happen to be located in the projected storm path. Will have to stock up on water, canned goods, sterno, TP tomorrow. Oh, and get some cash out the ATM.

Stay safe, finger crossed.
P.s. is there any particular reason why this hurricane is named Florence (like one of the most famous Italian cities)?

It's just a name that comes up by rotation. They name storms alphabetically.
