Update: We MISTAKENLY (as in, Will never happen again) got some takeout from a place that rhymes with Cheesecake Factory. The meatloaf left a hideous taste in my mouth, far, far worse than pesto.
I'm here to tell you that vodka works. One more shot and we should be fine.

My dad met my mom in New York at the end of WWII, his ship pulled in there, he was in the Navy and she was in the Navy, they met on the subway. He brought her back to Texas and the rest is history. I grew up on seafood, fried chicken and yes, Italian food, she was a great cook.
PAISAN ! One of my good friends from my Cadet days is Italian, one of 9 kids from Bryan. Every last blessed one graduated from A&M, even though their Dad was a humble shoe cobbler (true). Invited us over to his house for dinner one time when we were hiding out from our C.O. one weekend, and his mom cooked for us. Hoo boy. His nickname ever after was... Linguini.
Leave the gun, take the Pesto, I say. Fuggedaboutit.
