HMMMMMMMMMM. Next thing you know, they'll be developing mosquitos that poke you with a flu shot vaccine and a gene to correct overbite. Papa Tom, this one's fer you.

BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

Some genetic mutations are doing some pretty cool stuff but I'm not sure we should be messin' in that pool.

Interesting, to say the least. I'm not sure how well it would work but on paper, EVERYTHING looks good.
I'd like to play Devil's advocate though. I think technology SHOULD be used to help assist agriculturally. The world's population is not getting any smaller and eventually, we will get to a point where standard methods are not good enough to sustain it. We've already bred and cross-bred animals to the point where a chicken can go from hatchling to frying pan in weeks, not months. It would only make sense to help out in ANY way possible. Why not look toward technology? There just aren't enough farmers out there to supply the world, or they're being pushed out by the big dogs. I myself am trying to make my break into small time; working on being a supplier for local restaurants.
I want to keep it as close to natural as possible, but I also feel that there is no need for the same methods used for large scale production on a venture like mine, but I wouldn't disagree that the larger end could benefit from some help.
