Winter Is Just Around The Corner

Postby Williep » Tue Oct 23, 2018 4:40 pm

I'm not a big fan of winter anymore (cold weather), take's me a little longer to get going but I do still like to cook outside when it's cold. I got the north wind block put up, cleaned off the cobweb's on the heater's and moved them out to the pavilion, so as much as I hate to say it, bring on the winter.

Great set up willie, being down under we are approaching summer, and that makes me happy.

So it may come as no surprise to you boys that we had a trace of snow in this area today and parts of northern Maine may get as much as 10 inches of the white stuff tonight thru tomorrow. FWIW I spent three winters in Texas, looking back, they were actually quite pleasant. And yes my knees, hips and hands all give me trouble in the cold. :dont:

Yes! Just slide those tables out of the way boys…two steppin’ time.

I’ve decided, I need a pavilion along with a bigger backyard :)

Dang Willie, i need to slip over to the east side for a party out of the north wind. I did make it to the east side last weekend for the stock car races.

"OUP", it would be a little rough on the sole's of your boot's, it's a pea gravel slab.

HMP on the east side of town. Asphalt track. It was the last race of the season. Off to Ft. Worth in a week for the NASCAR races.
