So it may come as no surprise to you boys that we had a trace of snow in this area today and parts of northern Maine may get as much as 10 inches of the white stuff tonight thru tomorrow. FWIW I spent three winters in Texas, looking back, they were actually quite pleasant. And yes my knees, hips and hands all give me trouble in the cold.

Eat a couple of 3 lber Lobstahs for me and some Whole Bellied Fried Clams and it will make me feel better about your snow lol.
Were in a Elevation ourselves in P.a that attracts the cold white stuff as well and just the thought of eating that grub already makes me feel better :)

For my part I look forward to the winter. A day on crosscountry ski is perfect. Winter is coming soon here too. This is from last winter.

Two or three day's of that white stuff is fine but after that I'm heading back to the Texas coast.

Back when I was young"ER" I lived in Snow Country and if we were lucky Summer would come on a Weekend when we didn't have to work. Spent lots of time on slats on the slopes but I have too much mileage now to even go outside in that kind of weather.

Downhill skiing can be hard for your knees. Do you actually get any snow in Texas? Maybe for a day or two? Normally we get snow within 2-3weeks and it stays until April. I think the worst part is from now and until the snow comes. This is the darkest and wettest part of the year. When the snow comes it is so much brighter. Hope the temperature stays below -5C. Above that the snow is only slushy and wet.

Unfortunately Munich is one of the worst snow places in Bavaria.
Most time of the winter we have around 0 Degrees and no snow but wet and Cold. I hate that and i love snow. That´s why I had a house in the Austrian mountains. But my Ex wife didn´t like skiing so I sold it. Now we all would be happy, if I wasn´t so stupid.

Austria is nice. In my younger days I used to go to St. Anton. Very nice slopes and high party factor. I believe the Crazy Kangaroo is still going strong with after ski.
