Almost a twin to one I shot years ago South of Fredricksburg, except yours has more mass to him.
Probably because of that East Texas Dining and better Mineral Browsing.

My Son is Hunting South of Y'all a pretty fur piece and his Trail Cam has spotted some decent Bucks but they're just too Nocturnal right now. A good rut would be a great help, as always in East Texas.

Great deer, if that was me in the pic, my grandkids wouldn't talk to me again. Lol.dont get me wrong, I used to hunt myself. Kids these days are too soft.

I, like OUP, used to hunt the Hill Country; Bend, Cherokee, then to Junction. I did it until 2014 and just got tired of the drive and it had turned into a Rich Man's game in Texas; the people with a lot of money got the better leases. I had not purchased a hunting License since 14 until last week. My Step-Son has a little 110 acre tract he's leased from an elderly gentleman for years; no Camp, no electricity, and Horrible Red Clay roads. he had this 10 Point on his camera but is working in Midland and isn't going to get to come in until Christmas. he knew if the deer went over the fence the Neighbors would shoot it so he asked me to go try.

As luck would have it he came out. LOL; I've already put all my hunting clothes back in the plastic totes in the barn. We have a lot of deer here at the house on our 39 acres but I don't shoot them.

Lol, Rambo. My granddaughter would like you. She freaked out about 2 years ago, we caught a fish on her rod she got for Christmas. It was her first and last fish. I pulled onto the pier, and used a knife to despatch it. Well... She screamed the wharf down for 20 mins. Never thought we'd kill it. She hasn't been fishing again.lol.
