Re: Help identify this growth on my Weber
Reminds me of our beloved Friend that we got in Colorado as a Pup. He was Malmute and Samoid (sp) cross and we named him Obsidian Sinoto but called him Snow Toes. He basically raised my Sons for us when we were busy or working. Having to have motor heaters that you plugged in every night so you could start your car, also made the hood warm so that's where he slept when it snowed and he was outside. Many mornings I have opened the door, seen the white hump on the car hood and called his name. Then the hump would quiver and up would stand Snow Toes. Ahhhhhh Memories
He also slept on a neighbor lady's hood and would sometimes ride into town on her hood with her. It was a very small, quite and easy living Mtn. Town so no danger of traffic fatalities.

Nice puppy. Those breeds are born to live outside year round. Cool story.

The town I live in is in North Texas just outside of Dallas. We get several cold snaps during the winter months. The weird thing here is it will get in the 30’s for a couple of days then the 70’s the same week. We get maybe a dusting or two of snow each year. Every few years we’ll get a decent snow storm. What really gets us is the ice storms. We tend to get one good one almost every year and it definitely shuts everything down. Even people that move down here from the colder states find out pretty quick that if snow is sticking to the roads there is generally a sheet of ice under it.

**knock on wood** we haven't really had any major ice ups since we've moved here back in '15. Get frost all the time. Had maaayyybe 1/4" of snowfall last year, none so far this year.

No snow at the moment. This 'thing' started as snow, turned to sleet, and when the precip ended, temps plummeted to single digits.
We got lucky.
Moink!
