Well we had over 6 inches of rain over the weekend. = You don't want to even go outside. :( Thought I was going to have to put up no fishing signs in the pasture. This was my driveway.

6 inches of rain is a lot. We would have drouned. We seldom get more than 2 inches during a day. More than that and it's a crisis. I live on the the top of a hill made of rock. No flooding, slides or anything so very safe.

This weekend the forecast said 20 inches of snow, but luckily it changed so. I still think I have to fire up the snowblower though. It's been snowing since yesterday and will continue untill Monday evening.

Pacific Northwest a small town called Crescent City, Calif. 10 miles from the Oregon border on the coast.

Merle Haggard was from the Redding area which is about 4 hrs south east from here. He spent a lot of time on Lake Shasta.
