Link to the FWSSR Grand Champion steer. Young lady pocketed a cool $195K this morning for her efforts. Sorry no vid saw it live on the tube. Reserve Champion went for a cool $125k. Congrats to both young ladies. Does give you faith in today's youth. :salut: :texas: :salut:

Apsolutley, the Reserve was an Angus cross and was just as beautiful. I did the stock show trail in highschool. Showed 1 and 2 year old Charolais heifers at the major shows. The steer compitation at Ft. Worth, San Antiono and Houston is insane. Being Champion or Reserve Champion comes down to a little luck and the judge's opinion.

I supported the local stock shows back when I was in business, the kids work real hard on those animal projects, I was in FFA back in school. My hat is off to them :salut:
