Shooting in Texas
Just read in the news that several people have been shot. Don't know where in Texas, but really hope you all are ok.

Here is the story:

It was north of Houston and appears the Sheriffs Deputy was one of the people shot. Prayers for all involved.

Re: Shooting in Texas
This was East of Cleveland, Texas and I know the location very well. I was actually raised about 3 miles from the Vet Clinc and went to School about 2 miles West of there off of Hwy 321.

Nothing here but considering the Media - - - that's small town stuff and will probably just disappear into something fresher.

Re: Shooting in Texas
UPDATE: Scent dogs from the TDCJ Wynne Unit got a hit on the man wanted in connection with the shooting of multiple people including a Liberty County Sheriff's Deputy. Ten minutes later the suspect 65 year old Pavol Vido was located hiding under a boat. When confronted by officers the suspect shot himself.

Wiffy just came in the Living Room and gave me the same report as Rambo's PLUS the Wounded Officer is expected to recover from being shot in the throat.

Re: Shooting in Texas
Joe thanks for the concerns, we all hate to hear this kind of thing. Hope the peace officer recovers.
One thing about Texas though, if some bad guy goes around shooting at people, there is a high likelihood that good people are going to return fire.

Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

Yes. I noticed the shooter shot himself before captured, as I've seen also happen often in these cases.

Re: Shooting in Texas
Saved us taxpayers a lot of money when he shot himself. Happy ending. Hope the officer fully recovers!
