Finally made it to Yellowstone with a great drive though Grand Teton. New Experience for the kids. No TV internet slower than a dial up modem and not working most of the time. Got to see some animals and beautiful scenery on the way.

Had to stop at chuckeagon grill for lunch. Beautiful place. Had a brisket sandwich which tasted great out in the sun.ImageImageImageImage

Thanks folk. Finally back in the civilization with functional internet. Yesterday was great with a full day tour in Yellowstone. Lots of great things to see. Didn't see any bears but that's ok. I can see that at home. Did see a lit of Bisons, which is exotic for us. Beautiful nature in the park. Also got to see the old faithful geyser, but photos on my DLSR camera. Have made it to Salt Lake city now. Staying here for a couple of days.ImageImageImageImageImage

Found a great restaurant in SLC called the melting pot. It's a fondue restaurant.

We went for a 4 course meny. You start by choosing the cheese you want in the pot for the starter. We went for a pot with aged cheddar, emmenthaler, Sam Adam's Boston lager garlic and spices. Dipped bread, broccoli, cauliflower and apple. Tasted good. Then we got a Cesar salad. Main course was a plate with tenderloin, black pepper marinated sirloin and teriyaki sirloin. We chose to fry the meat in a cast iron pan. The dessert was a pot of white chocolate where we dipped fruit, marshmallows, brownies and more. A great and very social dinner.ImageImageImageImage

Man this is such an awesome trip. Thank you for letting us ride along through your pictures. My wife and I want to head out west one of these days. You are truly reinforcing our need to make that happen.

What a great trip for your family! I love the pics. We are headed that direction on Saturday for a week of Boy Scout Summer Camp near Mount Rushmore. I'm looking forward to a break from the Texas heat. :)
